CoachTimer Privacy Policy

CoachTimer ("the app") is developed by Ariyaka. This policy explains what information the app accesses, how it is used, and your choices. CoachTimer is designed to work entirely on your device — we do not operate a backend server for the app and we do not collect, store, or sell your personal data.

Information We Do Not Collect

CoachTimer does not require an account, does not include ads or third-party analytics SDKs, and does not transmit your workout data, timer settings, or usage activity to us or to any third party. All app data (timer presets, session history, and settings) is stored locally on your device using on-device storage and never leaves your phone unless you choose to export or share it yourself.

Permissions the App Uses

• Microphone / Speech Recognition — Used only to recognize voice commands such as "Start," "Pause," and "Reset." Audio is processed to detect these commands and is not recorded, stored, or transmitted anywhere.
• Notifications — Used to alert you about timer/interval changes (e.g., round complete, rest over) and, optionally, to let you know when an app update is available. Notifications are generated on-device.
• Vibration / Wake Lock / Audio Playback in Background — Used to provide haptic feedback and to keep timer sound/voice cues playing correctly while your screen is off or you're in another app during a workout.

Data Sharing

We do not share any information with third parties because we do not collect any information in the first place. CoachTimer does not integrate with advertising networks or analytics providers.

Children's Privacy

CoachTimer does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13, because the app does not collect personal data.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes — for example, if a future version of the app adds cloud sync or analytics — we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above before the change takes effect.
